Counselling is one of the most common recommendations for Mental Health & Wellbeing Issues

Mental Health literally means the health of a persons psychological and emotional state. Ideally, we want Mental Health.


The term Mental Health Problem or Mental Health Difficulties relates to symptoms that are starting to affect a person's psychological and emotional wellbeing which often includes some symptoms of distress such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia or prolonged sadness.


Feelings can be overwhelming  and some behaviours might be happenning that are considered out of character and there may be an inability to cope or enjoy the things one normally did enjoy.  These feelings, physical symptoms, negative thinking patterns and behavioural responses are common reasons people are bought to counselling.


The reasons for how a person has ended up having their mental health compromised vary from relationship problems, trauma, emotional abuse or an inability to cope with current pressure of whatever has been happening in life right now.
