Hypnosis, Cognitive & Behavioural Therapies

Hypnotherapy is a well accepted technique where trance is used to envoke positive personal change. When used at the appropriate time, it can be a powerful intervention for a multitude of issues.

Psychological Parts Therapy

Parts Psychology is based on the idea that the normal personality is made up of parts or sub-personalities.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. (DBT)

DBT is particularly suitable to support particular conditions. It aims to help those who experience intense emotions that they find difficult to stabilize and works to help a person achieve balance.

Percussive Suggestion Technique (PSTEC Hypnosis)

This is a specialised hypnotic technique which aims to quickly reduce an unwanted emotional response to past, current or future anxieties.

I sometimes use the ideas from Eco-Therapy style to inform some of my Psychotherapy and at times myself and clients have taken sessions outdoors or taken part in community activities.

Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)

REBT aims to reroute irrational thoughts, assumptions and beliefs that are leading to ways of living that might be causing issues in a persons life. This approach is often seen as a deeper level of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Mindfulness Stress Reduction

... is about learning and practising how to reduce over thinking, anxiety provoking thoughts and ruminating about the past by using mindfulness either with or without meditaion techniques.

Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP)
It is believed that using this approach it is possible to access neural connections in the brain, our linguistics -how we speak to ourself and others and our behavioural responses and therefore improve our outcomes.

Mindfulness-based CBT.

Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy works to enable a separation from automatic responses and behaviours and increases a healthy awareness of thoughts and feelings so as to respond in a more balanced way.
