Monthly Wellbeing Sessions

Weekly sessions are normal for Counselling and Psychotherapy provides the best environment for therapeutic intervention and change, however, during financial crisis involving the current the cost of living pressures (and as I don't have the space to offer any more weekly appointments available at the moment),  I am offering a certain amount of monthly wellbeing sessions.

The thinking behind wellbeing sessions is that, some therapy is better than no therapy.

These sessions can involve:

  • Regular personal reflection.
  • Working through milder life, personal or relationship difficulties with anyone in your life.
  • Gain better perspective on a situation or experience you're struggling or have struggled with.
  • Explore Personal values.
  • Support in dealing with anxiety, stress or insomnia.
  • Psycho-education and therapeutic interventions for milder-medium stress related issues.
  • Develop self underatanding.

There is still an element of psychotherapeutic intervention involved and the sessions are forward thinking. People have said it can feel like a psychological make over.

For some people, wellbeing sessions can be suitable when they are working under extreme pressure in the workplace such as front line workers such as NHS workers, Police Force & SOcial Workers, other Government or Local Service Roles and other high demand job roles such as business ownership.
